The 2023 Innovations in Regulatory Science Awards recognized Dr. Francis Collins; FDA's GenomeTrakr; and Representative Diana DeGette (D-CO) and former Representative Fred Upton (R-MI) for their exceptional contributions to regulatory science and public health. Their accomplishments were celebrated by over 250 of the field's leaders on December 5 at the Willard InterContinental Hotel in Washington, DC.
The Innovations in Regulatory Science Awards acknowledge the individuals, teams, and projects that improve scientific knowledge, advance the scientific process, and expand the application of science to improve public health.
The 2023 event featured remarks from FDA Commissioner Robert Califf, MD, as well as a tribute to the Foundation's retiring board members.
