of Therapeutic Interest
Hybrid Public Workshop: In-Person and Virtual
June 27, 2024 | 9am-4pm (eastern)
The Reagan-Udall Foundation for the FDA, in collaboration with the FDA, hosted a hybrid public workshop on "Understanding Current Use of Ketamine for Emerging Areas of Therapeutic Interest."
The workshop set the stage for an intriguing discussion about the many potential indications of this existing product as well as gaps in data and understanding. Over 50 people attended the workshop in-person at our rooftop meeting space while more than 450 attendees joined us virtually. We heard from clinicians, researchers, regulators, and federal partners who highlighted emerging clinical uses, gaps in evidence, safety concerns, and policy and regulatory opportunities.
